Our Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Camp Friluft Gear. If you’re not happy with your item for any reason, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process within 15 days of receiving your order.

Important: To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as you received it. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to return or exchange an item:

  1. Contact us within 15 days of receiving your order at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
  2. Our customer service team will respond within 24 hours on weekdays with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions
  3. Securely package the item(s) with the original packaging and include the RMA number clearly visible on the outside of the package
  4. Ship the package to our address (provided with your RMA instructions)
  5. Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund or exchange

Return Request Template

Use the following template when emailing us about your return or exchange:

Refund Information

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within:

  • Credit card payments: 5-10 business days
  • PayPal payments: 3-5 business days

Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. If you received free shipping on your original order, the standard shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges

If you need to exchange an item for a different size or color, please indicate this in your return request. We will process the exchange once we receive your original item.

If the exchange item costs more than your original purchase, you will need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we will refund the difference to your original payment method.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons:

  • Used sleeping bags (SOVEPOSER)
  • Opened or used hygiene-related accessories
  • Personalized or custom-made products
  • Products without original packaging or tags

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item).

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
