Inside: Despite a generous 1.09 meters in headroom, 10.2 cm more than the previous version, and a truly rectangular floor area (without the foot taper of most other tents), the FreeLite is now 255 grams lighter. The micromesh-covered tent provides excellent ventilation and has a waterproof bathtub-like floor to protect against the elements. Two no-curl tent openings mean you don’t have to crawl over your tent mate in the middle of the night. The tent also comes with updated zippers that are more durable and easy to use with one hand. They also close to a single point so you always know where to open the door, even in the dark. New tech-compatible pockets have cable sockets in the corners for headphone and charging cables. Overhanging storage pockets are perfect for headlamps, sunglasses and other quick-access items.

Outside: The semi-freestanding design of the FreeLite is easy and quick to set up. Extremely strong DAC NFL tent poles, a DuraShield™ waterproof coating and taped seams keep the weather where it belongs – outside. The cut-away rainfly saves weight and has large storage areas to store gear you don’t want inside the tent. Easy entry and exit through the storage areas feature StayDry™ rain gutters to prevent water from dripping on you and your gear.
